FAQSWhere are you located?Wedding-Cinema is based in New York, NY. We cover the greater metropolitan area as well as Long Island, Connecticut, Westchester, and New Jersey. Call us to inquire about travel outside of a 50 mile radius from NYC. Do you meet with the bride and groom prior to the wedding?Yes. Every wedding is unique, and it is beneficial to all to discuss the day's events so that nothing is missed or overlooked. If you cannot meet, then a phone conference will be set up to go over all the details. How would you describe your style? Our shooting style is video-journalistic and documentary-like. We strive to capture the "real" moments with no staged events or special effects. Do you use lights?Shooting is (mostly) done in available light. No light setups or glaring lights in your face. We believe that adding light to a scene causes a disruption of the ambience or intimacy of the moment. Today's state of the art video recorders work in very low lighting conditions with very good results. What type of video cameras do you use?We have state of the art three CCD chip mini dv cameras from Panasonic, Sony and Canon Do you have any samples to send me?Yes, go to the contact section and send me your info. Don't forget to go to the gallery and view my online video samples. Why are the online video samples so small, will they be that small on my tv set?No, they will be full screen on your television. The online samples have been sized and optimized for the internet. Can you make me a web site to feature my wedding video?Yes, for an additional fee, you can have your own private web page at wedding-cinema for a period of 6 months. Is a wireless microphone really necessary? Our officiant has a booming voice and a mic.A wireless microphone greatly improves the chances of getting your vows heard on your video. Sound quality degrades over distance - if the videographer is not close enough to you, the on board camera mic may not pick up the vows.
